Grace Christian is completed the Master of Social Work program at Loyola University Chicago with a specialization in children and families. Grace has experience working with adolescents and adults with issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, body image, self-esteem, and LGBTQ+ identity.

Grace believes focusing on the unique wants and needs of each client creates the most effective, positive, and lasting change, and her history exploring a variety  of therapeutic modalities makes that special work possible. She is genuine, encouraging, and curious — clients experience her as honest and deeply accepting. Grace believes this posture models the self-acceptance clients must find to embrace change and (re-)discover what is really important to them.

From Grace:

“It’s crucial for most clients who have been injured or felt out of control for most of their lives to to understand the degree to which therapy puts them back in the driver’s seat — you ultimately decide what we explore and at what pace.  At the same time, I invite you to experiment with the vulnerability therapy makes possible.  Your own openness and honesty hold the keys to the possibility of receiving the acceptance, support, insight, and love that you have always wanted.  And that you deserve!”

We are all connected to each other, at our best and at our worst.
