Katie Dennis studies Psychology and Social Work at the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL). She thrives on serving others but her heart passion is to someday assist Active Military Service Members and Veterans through the complexities of separation from military to civilian life. Katie brings a wealth of experience in customer service, sales, and office administration and management in mental health and educational settings. Katie functions in the role of Client Liaison at Change, Inc., meaning she is part of our intentional, team-based effort to have client on-boarding and ongoing matters run intuitively, warmly, and effectively.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys listening to podcasts, being active (practicing yoga, hiking, walking in nature), trying new menu items at the diverse restaurants available in St. Louis, seeing live music, traveling, and spending time with her family.
“All of our experiences in life are ultimately our teachers, including those that are painful — they serve to help us learn something essential ourselves and often enable us to guide and comfort others who are on the same journey. As long as we remain open to receiving the gift hidden in our challenges, our successes and our failures transform us and become the source of our creative energy and a base from which we serve others.”
